Assistech is a Virginia-based organization that provides expert proposal development services to companies primarily within federal, state, and local markets as well as the commercial information technology arena. Founded in 1989 by Jeanne Whyte, Assistech is proud of its proven track record of providing expert consultation on well over 5,000 winning proposals for large government contractors, small businesses, and “8(a)” classified disadvantaged companies.
Assistech, a woman-owned company, stands alone as the only proposal development company that offers a commitment of “satisfaction guaranteed” to our customers. This devotion has allowed us to maintain a large family of satisfied clients during our 30-year history. Our range of services includes RFP interpretation, proposal management, technical writing and editing, graphics and production. Assistech has earned the reputation of providing unique solutions to every phase of the proposal development process that has resulted in billions of dollars in awarded contracts. Maureen Batinich – President/CEO
Maureen Batinich is President/CEO of Assistech. Prior to taking the helm at Assistech, Maureen served as a key member of the company’s executive staff for more than 18 years. Her primary position was Business Development Director, with the responsibility of working directly with clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Maureen has more than 30 years of financial/accounting and management experience including owning a financial services company with a clientele of small businesses. Prior to joining Assistech, she held the position of Controller at Federal Sources Inc. in Mclean, VA, for 10 years after serving as Director of Finance and HR for ConnellyWorks for eight years. Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University.

Anne Marie Tony – Chief Operations Officer

Anne Marie Tony is a member of Assistech Inc.’s Board of Directors/Advisory Committee as well as the Chief Operations Officer.

Anne Marie provides guidance to Assistech based on her vast experience as a leader and financial executive for various manufacturing and nonprofit companies as well as a volunteer for several organizations.

Anne Marie served as financial manager and general accountant for GAMCO Manufacturing Inc. based in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to joining GAMCO, she held the position of chief financial officer for AMO Industries, with operations based in Chicago, IL, and Pittsburgh, PA. Anne Marie previously served as an accountant for the Iron & Steel Society, a nonprofit organization serving the steel industry with members located throughout the world.

Anne Marie earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in computer science from Robert Morris University, where she also worked as a part-time employee in the school’s controller and financial aid departments.

Anne Marie is an active volunteer for many organizations and her church. This includes being a member of various committees that conduct outreach to local hospitals and nursing homes. Anne Marie is especially proud of her fundraising activities and toy donations during the holiday season for the last 30 years that have benefited patients at various Children’s Hospitals.
